Race Results

Peterborough Spring Regatta 2013

Congratulations to our Men's Novice squad, as both the 4+ and 2x- boats won their events on Saturday, de-novicing in the process. A really good set of races from Kevin saw him win in both crews to lose his novice status in both sweep and sculling in one day! The Sunday races wins came courtesy of the MKRC Juniors, with wins for the IM3 2- and WJ16A 2x- boats

Gold and Silver for MKRC

This year saw us build on last year's result at the British Rowing Masters Championship, coming home with a GOLD and SILVER medal. The Gold went to the Ladies' Coxed four of Lou, Heidi, Paula and Karen, coxed by Becks. Racing as a "C" crew against both "A" and "B" boats (with handicapping) they dominated the race from start to finish to really stamp their mark on this category. Helen and Jenny showed massive improvement, having missed out on the final last year, they powered through to take Silver in the "B" doubles. As well as the medal winners, there were other fine performances from many other Milton Keynes boats.
