MKRC Regatta 2013
This year's regatta saw four clubs attend, with Lea Rowing Club joining previous visitors Bedford, Northampton and Oundle. With a record number of entries, the first race of the day had to be brought forward, to 9:00, from 10:00 in previous years. A full day's racing ensued, with a wide range of crews including, for the first time, events for newcomers to the sport. This included recent Learn to Row graduates from all four clubs, racing in Round Robin events to ensure they all got plenty of racing experience.
The overall winners on the day were Milton Keynes, taking back the Club Challenge trophy from last year's winners, Oundle.
