Corona Virus update

Following the Prime Ministers announcement last night that the entire country is now in full Lockdown, British Rowing has confirmed that ‘part of the restrictions require sports clubs to close, and as such, rowing clubs should close their rowing facilities with immediate effect’.

For MKRC this means that as of today, we may no longer access the compound or the boathouse. My understanding is that this will be for a minimum of 7 weeks. On the positive side, our COVID procedures are now well established, such that re-opening should be possible quite quickly.
