Showing that regular training and commitment both on land and water pays off. The guys raced well, coxed brilliantly by Kim and won with a great time beating Falcon Boat Club by a huge margin of 1 minute and 33 seconds.

We thought our race went well and had an 11 second handicap but unfortunately Derwent MasD had other ideas and beat us by 12 seconds.

A tricky race for John as he had to pass two doubles on his way down the course. Finishing behind a strong Isle of Ely sculler but just pipping Leicester into second place.

Also up against some experienced scullers from Derwent this crew had some equipment problems so had to stop briefly in the race. When they restarted they finished strongly holding off the eight behind them.
Well done all
