Monitor showing Chris' winning time MK Rower Chris Hearn came away from this year's English Indoor Rowing Championships with both the 500m and 2000m titles in the Men's Lightweight 30-39 category. Returning to the Manchester Velodrome to defend the titles that he won the previous year over both distances, in one of the first races of the day he won the 2k in a time of 6.40.3 improving his own personal best set the year before in the same event by over a second and a half and clocking the fastest time of the day for any lightweight rower in the process.
